i only have 2 2700k cfl bulbs and they are currently working out on my biggest plant

i have 2 more in veg right now, and one of em is ready (mature enough) to flower.

but i only have the 2 2700k bulbs, and cant buy any more for a week or so.

can i just change the lights to 12/12 and keep them under 6500k?

i know its not "good" but will it work, and is it "safe" for the plant, and its chances of being female?

thanks

+rep for good help

IMO, yes, 6500 will trigger flowering.
May s t r e t c h more than it would have under proper spectrum, but no biggie.

Love to help just not enough info. Mature to flower? Moving them to flower now would not hurt them, not as big a yeild. I believe 5000 k is the min. any pics?

IMO you should just keep it in veg until you get the lights.

You will get a smaller yield if you rush it in to flower. Patience is key.

Don't get me wrong, a lot of people do 12/12 from seed and get great results. It's faster than letting veg for 4 weeks or so, but if you want quality AND quantity, let em veggggg.
