nutrients are immobile for the most they won’t breakdown or go away. the reason they do testing to see if you have anything adverse in your product when your commercial. The harsh smoke is from chlorophyl not being broken down properly. It takes 10 to 14 days of nice controlled drying to do this right. Speed drying is where most ppl have issues. Don’t starve your plant the final two weeks are important. Making them turn in on itself to to cannibalize itself will hurt end weight, terpenes, thc and everything else good That you want.
ok ok, @Herb & Suds posted two articles earlier in the thread that are inline with your response. Do the plants require less nutrients toward the end of flower ? Right now I have her at about 1600-1800 ec trying to keep it on the lower side but ph and and EC keep shooting up with the evaporation and amount she’s drinking.

I generally just feed until the last week then prep to chop everything down a start drying.
