Flush or not

About the black ash thing, use some common sense. I use synthetic salts. They're all white salts, except for the iron sulfate which is green.

When I burn the salts, they stay white, so why does weed turn black sometimes? Carbon is black. The carbon is from the starches, sugars, and structural carbon like cellulose, not the salts.

That carbon is pulled straight out of the air. The ash is black because the carbon didn't burn completely. Dry your weed out more. Your joint keeps going out because it's wet.

Now guess what makes white ashes white? It probably has to do with the fact that all the synthetic salts I use are white.
I was thinking about this and thought it funny that, these guys claim bad burn from chem nutes, you explained that it is from carbon, guess what carbon is?LOL

Opinions are like bungholes ... Some of you WASH and some of you DONT. :spew:

Here a simple way to look at it. Flushing a plant CUTS it's tie to what's in the soil so it doesn't have what it needs from there. It pulls from its internal reserves thus expending stored nutrients . As it pulls water in ( an attempt to feed from root zone ) it just gets a reduced PPM , so it compensates by cannibalizing itself. Chem fertilizers are nasty stuff.
This is why growers shoot for final PPM under 500.

I would think most growers want the plant to be as CLEAN as possible at harvest.
Organics is a grey area , with compost , chicken shit and blood meal , to me that TOTALLY sounds like a flush scenario. Also any additives ( bloom boosters , extracts , teas , etc. ) . There is no TRUE organic set ups where all you do is water , grow and bloom. Every grow is manipulated to produce what nature can't.

I would not want ANYTHING in my smoke ( other than the cleanest plant possible ) Whether synthetic or Barnyard.
Remember , you are medicating with that shit !

If want to puff on chem , cut to the chase and drink your nutes.

Yes I agree it's in cure when the most stored nutes in the leafs dissipate and leave the plant through the stomata this is why we still need humidity high enough when curing so to keep the stomata open and allow the nutes to leave.

This being said I still believe it's better to flush as this will quicken the cure process imo as there will not be an abundance of stores nutes in the plant at chop time there would be less then if u didn't flush jmo

Stomatas are still functioning after chopping? Open stomata's allow nutes to leave? Really? Wow, just wow....

There goes the logic argument again!
GIVE US REAL SCIENCE PLEASE !!
Not logic based conjecture.......!!!!!!

Yes there are things still occuring after chopping. And plant respiration is not one of the them.
Even after chop the plant is still functioning and yes transpiring through the stomata until there is not enough h2o for the process to continue and the stomata is still functioning until this happens.

Its called survival

Nope. Within minutes of chopping stomas are closing and fluid movement in the xylem and phloem cease. Its known as an embolism.
http://www.plantphysiol.org/content/131/1/6.full
I read all that and I could not find no where a plant had been chopped it just explains how water pressure in the plant works and embolism were an air bubble draws up the stem like when a clone gets air in the cut and dies that's embolism ain't it? I may be wrong???
So how come a clone does not die?? I have taken clones and left for 30 minute before planting and they live? Just confused a Lil now tbh enlighten me
