Flushing before Harvest -- Help !!! How often to flush?

Please answer this!! -- Two parts:

I understand flushing is 3 gallons of water per 1 gallon of soil. People will say like "do this for the last week."

My question is when they say this, does that mean do this EVERY DAY??? Or EVERY WATERING, as in every 4 days (for example) when it goes dry again??? If the answer is to flush every day, won't you over-water your plants and they'll be all drooping and unhealthy/die for harvest?

ONE MORE THING: On the day you chop your sweet baby down, do you water before hand? How long before? Or... Should you wait for the soil to dry a bit, and help prevent mold when drying/curing??

flush every watering, or just keep watering using your normal time table. no nutes though. as for chopping the plant right after watering, it doesn't matter. you're killing the plant before it will have time to use any of the water you give it that day.

Hey, on my first and only completed grow I did "mini flush" with about 1 gallon of water in each my 2 gallon pots just once and then carried on with normal watering shedule but using just plain water, waited for soil to dry up before chopping. The smoke was ace.
