Try the Malawi gold i have trained her for 42days the get her to a 18 mainbud flux....i cut out 2 to give the circle more room to individualy fatten up....she is topped down to second and guided outward to both sides horizontaly...you only top 1 time early....and thats it...mainline requiers at least 3 tops to get to 8 mains and takes you at least 8 weeks...this technique drasticly reduces the veg/training time to a least 2 weeks less for double the amounth of mainbuds....i hope this explains it a bit....❤❤She is now at day 69 from seed...and stretch is over buds are formingView attachment 4458702View attachment 4458703View attachment 4458704View attachment 4458705

Starting a flux:strain: BlackBerry moonrocks autoflower:
Grow out untill 4th nodeView attachment 4452688
Next step is to top down to second node(placed a sissor)
View attachment 4452687
And cut of the first node
View attachment 4452689
Next let recover and when she is just starting to grow outView attachment 4452690View attachment 4452691
Guide her in a T-shape to start

Now this is how a flux training or turtlemainline starts
hey im liking your grows and thinking of getting into main lining myself is there any tricks or things not to do and i also see that you have done it on autos do you grow out to the 4th node or try and trim them as soon as possible. also is the yield any diff then compared to topping or lst

the amount of veg required kinda turned me off to it.
you only top 1 time early....and thats it...mainline requiers at least 3 tops to get to 8 mains and takes you at least 8 weeks...this technique drasticly reduces the veg/training time to a least 2 weeks less for double the amounth of mainbuds....i hope this explains it a bit....❤❤She is now at day 69 from seed...
one thing to keep in mind is that if you go from seed youll have 4-5 weeks until the plant is sexually mature and only then can it be flipped to flower.
secondly, it depends on your lights setup how big you can allow the plant to grow, a flat canopy is better for a low wattage led board... whereas a 1000w hps in a closed hood can light out a 1m tall plant... so it depends...

this fluxtraining seems to be much superior than conventional mainlining, it takes the sidebranches to create the tops...

Start training a gorilla glue autoflower(turtlemainline)

Lesson 1:grow out to 4th node
View attachment 4458666
Top down to second node just above the 2 sprouthsView attachment 4458665
ResultView attachment 4458667
Next cut of the first nodes and clean up the stemView attachment 4458668
Now this is how she should basicly look after topping and clean up...now let her recover a few day untill she starts growing out again....❤View attachment 4458669
Nice tight nodal spacing, what light do you use for seedlings at that stage? ~4-5 nodes.

I use them from start at 18 in away so about .5 meters yeah i get no stretch and yeah real tight node spacing. Ive noticed my stems are much thicker than when i was starting with lower power lights
