Foggy calm nights.

Hello!. This is my 1st year growing outdoors and have been helped out quite a bit on this forum. I have one more question. My babies have just finished their 5th week since showing pistils. and the past few nights have been very foggy and not a lot of breeze. In the mornings my buds are soaked... And today i found a little bud with some rot on it.
I put up a make shift pvc and 6 mil plastic greenhouse top that i placed so It covers my plants about a foot taller than the tallest bud. Should I but some fans out side to help with ventilation or shoujld i just let them be? Will the Greenhouse top stop some of the moisture from getting on my buds? P9130750.jpg
Any thoughts my buds are starting to look pretty good and I would like a good harvest.

Well I have some thoughts for you..my plots are all right next to a river with dense fog most every night.

Three different methods.

All with 1 drop of dish soap per gallon as a wetting agent or Cocowet for organic

1. Serenade one week

2. Baking Soda next week- 1 TBSP per gallon

3. Skim milk next week -1 part per 9 parts water

You need a pump sprayer for this.

I have lost very little bud since I began this rotation.

Also once you pull, if mold is still a worry try this and you won't be disappointed!!! Take 1/2 cup baking soda and 1/4 cup of lemon juice and mix them into a 5 gallon bucket of water...mix them thoroughly together and put your bud in there submerged for about 5-10 minutes. Have a wash bucket filled with clean water and dip in there when you're done to get any residue off. Next I hang the buds in front of a fan on HIGH to dry off any moisture then when they're dry put the fan on a lower speed pointed not directly at your buds but more like where it will keep the air moving but not dry them out too fast.

This will leave your bud tasting amazing(something to do with the terpene exchange w the lemon juice)...I've even been too high before and forgot to wash my plants in fresh water afterwards but there is no noticeable difference in the finished product, it will not leave any residue on your buds.

This is how I'm doing my guerilla drying this year with good success and no signs of mold anymore after losing almost half my early flowering plants to mold this year.

Good luck!
