Foil vs. mylar

I've heard stories that foil will burn your plants, is this true? or can i go right ahead and use foil on my walls instead of mylar? Which side out?

Foil can cause hot spots, and mylar is better at reflecting by a long shot.

foil also crinkles and mylar is more flexible and wont crinkle atleast as much

I was kinda hoping for another answer thing is, if i want mylar then i have to drive 300km to get it.. not ordering anything via mail. O well, seems like i have a roadtrip comming up..

just by flat white pant......if you are in a tent. go down to a store like walmart and buy some emergency blankets......sure bets the foil
