Foilar Spraying OFF or ON watering days?

Hey so I know majority of the reccomendations for foilar feeding but do you guys foilar feed on watering days as well or only off days?

Tomorrow is a water day and I would like to get an amino acid foilar spray before my lights come on. Is this a no-no or completely fine? Top drench basically directly following a foliar spray? One of my plants is just getting over a rough overwatering spell, don't want to delay it further.

I've always done my foilars on off watering days just to avoid any issues as I was never really sure.

foliars are best done right at lights off, not on when the stomata are still open

The stomata are open before your lights come on in the morning?

just as the lights turn off they are still open for a bit

Cool, so will you do a foilar spray within hours or even minutes (or following morning in your case) of a top drench or vice versa?

i only foliar with epsom salt if i have a Mg deficiency. and generally it only takes one or 2 applications to get rid of the Mg issue
