That's bad luck......maybe the Buddha can help.......I'll give you credit, a3x3, no wonder your inventory dwindled......I harvest one room then bring in clones(after vegging 3 months) and start flowering process......this way, a constant, steady flow........saves gobs of cash.......recuped initial investment of news setup my first harvest. You don't need 100plants.....if growing for your own head, 6 good plants is plenty for 2 people and we smoke a lot. I'm rambling...apologies
Not at all Bud.
I had the same thoughts ,my room will fit 9 x 11 litre pots comfortably if 6 went on to produce, happy flowers, anything more a bonus. Next one was gonna try a Scrog with around 15 x 12 cm pots and keepthe plants short but bushy..... maybe I should get more space sorted?? Veg tent??

I just finished two rounds of chcolope(sativa about 90%). Never grew these monsters......they stopped stretching after going 12/12 hr. Light cycle..............about 5 in. from ceiling. A couple plants, however stayed shot and stocky, what a treat. I've always thought weed plants are just like people, even same strain.......some shot, some tall, fat, skinny, flourishing, weak etc.Im going back to my fireplug indica plants.....never had bugs or mold, easy to work with.

My first grow was 3 chocolupe , nightmare!! I had to harvest the tops of all three on week 5 of flowering had no clue what was going on then my S hanger gave way and lights fell on them lol all 3 mangled, I splinted each one where I could and they survived, unbelievable!! four atm are Blueberry photos, had a rough few weeks there and couldn’t get temp up over 21degrees but did the veg no harm, it took an extra two weeks to get them to flower.... I’m really looking forward to an explosion here the nodes are everywhere.......

I personally use a food dehydrator when I just harvested and can't wait, or am testing a living plant for potency/effects. But, I am usually only drying an evening's worth of medicine in such a way. I would never dry the whole batch with a dehydrator. The weed is usually a little harsher, tastes less pleasant, and/or is a little less potent. But, if I'm looking for less than a day's turn-around for consumable weed, it's there as an option. The microwave, on the other hand, is for times of true desperation.

Ive accidentally bent to mature trunks almost in half...trunk split open....I tied up straight wrapped duct tape around nasty break...healed beautifully......blew the tape job right off. They are resilient. Being a stoned gardener I do things like drop lights cut off unintended branches going after a leaf etc..Can't take it to serious, ruins the fun...shit happens.Nice looking plants...you are at that exciting time.

Yep, and here we are they’re doing it on purpose now to stop plants stretching and to improve yield? Was reading about mainlining, holy shit, that looks time consuming and a bit extreme....think I’ll stick with the stick the magic beans in the ground and talk to them instead

If you gotta get some smoke right away you could process some bud into bubble hash. Lots of people do that fresh chopped + frozen, so drying time isn't a consideration.

I tried that with some of my really rough first pass trim, pressed it, and got something that gets me high but tastes like green asshole. I'm pretty sure I did way way way too much agitation, and I just tossed all my runs in together so there was no chance to save a good run on its own.

Oh well, it gets me stoned while my harvest hangs up and my supply of concentrate from the dispensary dwindles. Hopefully it'll last until this harvest is dry enough to press and smoke on its own.

No, you wouldn’t ? Would you?? Rather do without lol
Microwaving wet weed does work but the flowers tend to catch fire if you leave them to long. for a 1-2 buds, I'd recommend 15 second increments maximum. By 45 seconds, the bud is pretty dry most places. There's usually a funky burned scent that fills the room and is noticeable in the bud's flavor. But, it gets the job done in a pinch.

Hey I was joking, yes it works but plz don’t micro your bud to try it.

You will get nothing close to the actual effects or potency of the final product

your dehumidifier will work for a quick dry to get your partner high if they can wait 12-24hr just zero heat

hehe

Came across someone on IG who used one. If I recall you would want to use a low setting and some food dehydrators would run hotter than others on their low. Think they recommended to pack it quite tight aswell.

Hi,
I know this is a contentious issue, but has anyone tried a food dehydrator to try drying a bit of weed out? I have sourced a cheap one for around £26. Read the reviews and check Ed the temps etc. It operates between 40 degrees and 70 degrees and just have a huge fan the whole size of the base with a 15w heater element. Reviews say it works in hours and not days, would be another gadget I love gadgets me. Good way to try your weed before you decide on harvesting maybe??
what are your thoughts peeps?
I've done it before on flower halfway thorough drying and on flower that i had to harvest in a rain storm. while i agree it's science that slow drying breaks down the chlorophyll it ain't gonna hurt ya to use it. I've dried bud out perfectly and ready to smoke in 2+hrs however its a double edged sword because you run the risk of completely stripping your flower of moisture if done too long. you are gonna taste chlorophyll if you don't slow cure it though. my recommendation is let it get dryish then toast em. you got it! I've dried about a quarter out in a small jerky dehydrator and the bud came out just fine but there was a taste difference

The fastest way to dry and cure is with a freeze dryer. Takes less then 24hrs to do and it tastes, smells and looks amazing. This is my LSD plant I harvested this past September, but I should of let her go another week. Anyways the pics are wet into my medium size harvest right freeze dryer, dried 17hrs later, jarred and up close.
