I want to know if this is a true sterotype or not. Are your pubs what us americans think? Get really drunk and fights and rough housing in the pub? Lol

in rough areas of the north side of dublin maybe, but other than that its way off! I dont even drink, i know plenty of people who dont drink or dont drink often, its exactly what you called it, a stereotype! The drunk culture is usually the kids about to leave school, just turned 18, drink all summer and for a few years maybe after that, but eve ohntually most people grow up and stop pissing their money against the wall. Oh and we're not all ginger and there is no such thing as leprechauns!

wasnt a stab man, just a comment based on personal experiences, worked in bars from coolock to tallaght back when i was a barman years ago, my family is from the northside but moved to the southside a few years before i was born so still see the northside quite regularily. Also based on stories from friends from the northside.

It's largely a stereotyp[e, but yes, those types of pubs can be found throughout the UK as well, not just in Ireland. Think the northerners are jut about as bad as the Irish when it comes to drunken fistycuffs. Nothing like a conutry pub
