Likewise outdoors if you dont live in an area with a long enough summer/fall.
Thats why i like the idea of light dep to get full access to the summer sun.
I did the opposite last summer. I grew a Jilly Bean indoors in June, July and August and moved it outside by hardening over a week.
I waited till our light cycle here in Co. was at 12/12 outdoors and threw it outside to finish the last six weeks. It still barely made it before frost set in.
You don't get the massive growth you get in veg stage with the sun, but it's still better than any light I can replicate in my flowering area, and it frees up the flowering room for more strains.
I'm going to set up some flowering plants for a late summer finish again this year.
