Found a mature seed in really good weed...

Hello,

I got a bag of really nice herb the other night and just found a mature seed. This herb is frosty and very sweet smelling/tasting. Nice middle of the road in effects high to boot. (indica+sativa)

I don't see any other seeds in the bag but I haven't broken it up either.

So whatcha guys think? Worth it as a mystery plant? Anyone get high end results off a mystery plant that you found in similar circumstances to my own?

This is a AK47 bag seed... Got it out of a bomb half oz. Id say grow it and keep a watchful eye for signs of male or hermie. Its toppedd and tied into a half moon, it didn't grow that twisted. Sry for throwing pic

I just planted...well awhile back...some bag seed and they were all female...like 15 plants.
I NEVER expected to get all female. and dank.

I've never grown from a bag seed, but I always wished I hadnt just tossed nice seeds that I used to find before I started growing. If you don't need another plant in your grow right now, I'd stick it away somewhere dark and cool for a rainy day. If the smoke is good, just make up your own fancy name for the strain and youre good to go!

I vote grow it or save it for later. It all started out as bag seed at one point man. The guys that started taking things really serious 30-40 years go didn't have attitude to order seeds from. They got a bag of some killer this or that and saved seeds. People also used to let their plants get seeded for this reason, to have seeds to grow next season. I've got a few plants growing right now that have turned out pretty decent that came from bag seed my brother gave me. He got some bud from my uncle (an old hippie) and it had some seed in it so he saved them cus it was killer bud he said. Like I said having completely flowered out one of the 2 pheno types I got from the bag its pretty decent. I have the others flowering now with the rest of my girls.

Hell ya. I'd wait and see if you got any more seeds and plant for sure. Karma, fate, luck whatever! And have gotten great results off bag seeds (broken out of bud, though not loose).

My plants hermed on me last 2 weeks, now i got nice ass weed and good ass seeds go for it, with a little luck they feminized!

"bag seed' just maens unknown genetics-- it COULD be some of the best stuff you ever grew!! Never know!
Sometimes if a grower lets a plant go too long, or stresses it in last few weeks, they get a seed or two...
could be killer genetics!

Tnx guys/gals...yeah I put into a little box and tucked it into a drawer. I have to admit...since it came from herb that I'm really liking...it was a pleasant surprise when i saw a medium sized dark tan colored seed.

Random Bag Seed's are like scratch off lottery tickets in a sense . As most will not be winners but some will be pay offs all the way , look at Chemdawg and the legendary lines that all began from random bag seeds .. I have many random beans that I have collected and these are a product of rodelization and most random beans tend to be as well

If you're willing to care for it then its worth it. I grew one bag seed in my life and it smelled just like fruit stripe gum.

bagseed is good when u grow and select certain one with a good pheno type i keep some as mothers and breed it with known gentics to improve on it after couplr of times it becomes a exotic thast no one had but u

Just an update...she's growing...100% female...frosty...and smells like 20 skunks got in a gas or die fight.

She was cut/dried and put into jars...no seeds! Now comes the waiting for the cure part.
