found an electrical box in a small closet

okay, so i am in this house that apparently used to have a hot tub in it. in the room a found like a small closet or cabinet about 4x4x4 ruffly. in the cab i found a breaker box and a huge wire coming out of it (like a pig tail cord from your dryer plug) the end of the cord was cut off and has wire nuts on it. any suggestions on how i can utilize this?

Get a tester and see if you have 220 or 110. If your not an electrician FORGET ABOUT IT. or go find one.

i would most deff have a pro do it for me. just asking, if anybody has any recomendations for me. since nothing else is using the box, what could i use.

If it was used for a hot tub it's probably 220v. Can you tell what amperage the breaker is? Should have a number right on the breaker, or it could be 2 separate breakers joined by a bar. How many individual wires are in the cord?
