So I have 3 autos, I pulled one about 1 week ago, put in dark for about 4 days, I wasnt home otherwise it would have been just 2. It's been drying for a couple days I decided to pull it out and do a little trimming so I dont have so much work when its dry. Well to my HORROR, FUCKING BEANS!!!! Not Every bud, but at least 25%-30% Man, my heart hurts. And now I'm freaking out because my other two arent quite ready for harvest (1 is about 30% orange hairs, the other maybe 50%), and haven't developed any beans YET, but potentially could. Should I chop them now? Or wait? Here's what they look like. Do you think the seeded one busted out nanners after being in the dark so long? If so that would mean my 2 plants couldnt have come in contact with the pollen. Idk what to do dude help me ease my anxious soul

Just wait it out. It’s not the end of the world. You can still smoke it
You think it'd be better to wait and have seeds than harvest now? This is my first true, 100% all in, run so I'm definitely no expert but I'd assume itd be better to pull em with no beans seeing how close they are to harvest ya know?

Leave em if they have seeds they have seeds, still much better than premature weed. Check the ones left for bannanas or balls and pick em off if you see em. It's not a big deal it happens to everyone but can be avoided somewhat by looking very closely for balls and bannanas. If it's just a few plants then pick em off if your in a production setting then you would get rid of herms so as not to seed the rest.

Either way premature weed is pretty much worthless, my herms go straight in the trash, but if I was only doing a small space with a few plants I'd pick the balls off. If you lots of plants loosing one isn't a big deal if you only have 4 then losing one is 25% of your crop.

Sorry to say seeds take much longer to develope than 4 days, BUT I have had a plant or two over the years seed itself and nothing else, I'm guessing the bannanas must have been inside the flower or something on those ones.

If the other ones were going to have seeds, I doubt it matters if you harvest right now, or in another week or 2... the damage is already done.

Might as well give it the extra time to finish maturing. Its not like seeds make it trash... harvesting early however will.

What is the actual difference between bud having seeds or no seeds? Does it really affect the quality of the final product that much? Like besides the inconvenience of picking seeds out before you smoke it, if they're pollinated late in flower and have already put on a good amount of weight and trichomes arent they virtually the same smoke wise?

Depends how much pollen dropped. If they get hit by some stray pollen and just finish with a few seeds I don think their is much difference. Plants can become fully seeded to the point it's best to pick the seeds out and make concentrate with it. But it takes a considerable amount of pollen being dropped for that to happen.

I see, alright thanks man!! One more question, do you think I can pop these seeds? The plants were all feminized autoflowers to begin with

Seed production has nothing to do with potency in my experience. Only difference I noticed was the weight of one with seeds compared to one without. The plant put too much energy into creating seeds, thus resulting in a smaller yield. It freaking sucks to break the bud up and have a crap load of seeds popping out of everywhere, but the high was still as good as if it didn’t have seeds.
