Fox Farm ocean Forest

I'm using Fox Farm ocean forest for the first time it seems like I have to use water daily or every other day I don't understand it plants in a 5 gallon fiber pot
Too late to change anything because it's in
flower
I'm in week 7 and there's been a lot of yellow leaves on 2 plants but the other one is all green no problems at all

I water everyday and I use 7 gallons. It’s fine with me.

If you have big booming plants in a 5 gallon pot, that seems pretty normal. It's probably a good sign if anything. If the plants are sucking up a lot of water, they "like the taste" of that water and they're trying to suck up nutes. And if they're sucking up nutes fast, they're probably growing and budding vigorously. If it's hard for you to water that often, then next time use bigger pots or grow smaller plants before flowering. I think you just have happy plants with good roots.

I agree with above. At some point watering everyday is normal especially if they’re big.

Well I'm in week 7 of flower an plants are slowing down on drinking ‍‍

Also consider your environmental factors. Temps, humidity, fan blowing on fabric pots etc. Fabric pots dry up quicker for obvious reasons.

I was watering ever 2 days at one point in flower and there in 3 gallon pots

i use FF soils in 5-7 gallon felt-pots with a BluMat drip system. If you can get Blumat drippers dialed in (not overwatering) you will love them.
Blumats can be bad for overwatering or in a humid environment, as they can increase fungus gnats and of course budrot/PM chances. I usually remove Blumats after 6 weeks in flower and finish by hand, but use through veg until that point.

How often are u watering once u pull the mats?

My nute stays at 6.5 - 7.0
And I only gave her food twice in 5 weeks so I'm thinking the yellow leaves are part of the flower stage

Still check and typically water once per day, with my consistent strains I usually start having to water less and less by end of week 7 and usually chop at 9...so only a couple of weeks to water. I have used Blumats all the way from germ to chop however, with absolutely no issues, but you do jave to buy a moisture meter and dial those things in or they will overwater! Also, make sure you always set your felt pots on something to prevent them sitting on a plastic tent-floor and not drying out (creates bud rot prone environment, roots never establish a “cycle”.....just sharing what I’ve learned. I love my Blumats, much less to worry about plus can take a vacation during flower.....

I can tell you the one under the hp is nice and green
but the led is green and yellow
first time with leds

I bought an auto-waterer for $25 on Amazon. It goes for 60sec every 8h, in addition to my morning watering routine. It's just a trickle coming out of it, but stops the plants from getting too dry. Before the auto water, the pots were really light in the morning when I'd check on them. Now, they're light but not bone-dry. Also helps me for days I have to go out of town on business. I set it for 60sec every 4h.

Have a link? Im new and have been keeping the top soil too dry. I have started spraying daily to wet it but am wanting to get a drip system.

Worked really well for me when I went out of town. I'm thinking of using it more permanently.

It’s normal if your growing in that garbage FFOF soil. I’ve said it before and I’m gonna say it again that soil is crap for the money you guys are paying. Promix HP is awesome. For all stages. All I ever hear from guys using FFOF is that their plants aren’t doing very well. You don’t see guys posting using promix Hp saying they have a problem with leaves turning yellow in week 7. I can keep my leaves green right until I harvest. If leaves are dying then the plant is lacking something. Normal for one or two leaves to die once in a while yes but not throughout the growth of the plant.

I think you don't have to use much nutes if any at all
I made 1 a mother plant and she green and beautiful and she's in a 5 in. Pot

Is there a recommended moisture value for most strains? I have plenty of moisture meters, that sounds like a much better way to know when to water than using your finger.
