Can't seem to find a solid answer on the internet.

Based on this, I should give my plants Grow Big and Tiger Bloom in the 3rd week of flowering. Has anyone else followed this? I really don't want to guinea pig one of my plants to see if it will burn or not.

Thanks

Oh and if you have better recommendations for nutrients besides FF, i'm all ears, because I want to try some better stuff for my next grow.

Yes. Use half the recommended dose. FF Big Bloom is good. I used grow big for a while but use earth juice grow now as it's not salt based.

I believe the Grow Big during the 3rd week is to give the plant a N boost, but I could be wrong. I agree that you should start at a lower dose and work your way to full strength. I'm not into flowering yet but I've been following FF's schedule since the beginning and I've had no problems yet.

remember that everyone's grow is not the same length. one guy's 5th week of veg could be another guy's second week of bloom. the feeding chart is a general guideline for how the company suggests using their product. i've been using the ff liquid trio for the past few grows with of soil. one of the most important things to notice is that they suggest starting the big bloom during veg. it is extremely mild stuff and will not burn the plants. i use it full strenghth starting around wek 3 or 4 of veg, and i use it during WATERING ONLY. for feeding i would use the grow big or tiger bloom half strength. i don't start grow big until week 3 or 4 of veg, and even then i only do it if the plant looks vigorous enough to handle it. i wouldn't put it on a spindly runt plant that early. so basically if i did a 5 week veg i would only end up feeding the grow big twice max before i flipped. i don't even bother with the schedule at this point. i water, wait for it to dry a bit, then feed, and repeat. it really depends on how fast/effectively your plant uses what you give it.

thanks for the advice total head.

I went ahead and gave 2 of my plants a feeding of grow big today (i gave them tiger bloom last watering) and the plants really seemed to like it, so I went ahead and gave the rest of them grow big with great results, they all perked up and got that nice fresh green color in them again. So mission is a success lol
