Alright so i went to my local hydroponics store today looking to buy good nutes. They had a bunch of brands like alaska, botanicare, dyna-grow, earth juice, humboldt, and so on. The one brand that i remember people talking about which cought my eye was FOX FARM. The only problem was- they have many different types of foxfarm nutes. I'm looking for both veg, and then flowering nutes. If somone could please give me advice on which the best is to use. Money isnt a factor, im looking for the best nutes wheather it is or isnt fox farm. The options under fox farm was big bloom- grow big-tiger bloom- tiger bloom - beastie bloomz- cha ching- and open sesame. Let me just explain that im a newbie at growing indoor and if somone could hook me with a good nute advice for veggin and floewring that'd be great! I'm growing in soilk if that matters. :joint:

basically the grow big is for veg and the tiger bloom is for flower. The big bloom is supposed to be used in conjunction with both.

The others can be used with the grow big and tiger bloom.

Check out the feeding schedule on foxfarmfertilizer.com and it will all make sense.

Out of all the fertilizers you think i should stick with fox farm nutes? Thanks for the advice also.

Good point chuckb! I bet 50% of the people using Fox Farm are doing so incorrectly. I agree on going to their website and looking at the feeding sched. If you try to feed by the instructions on the bottle, you are doing it wrong. Grow Big isnt even used the first two weeks I think.

I like and use Fox Farm.

To be perfectly honest up until a couple days ago i've been using straight Grow big during veg, and switching to Tiger Bloom for flower.

Results have been good.

I bought a jug of the big bloom a couple days ago and i plan on switching to the fox farm schedule.

2 things i didn't know:

-Fox farm recommends fertilizing every other water.

-You're supposed to mix in the grow big during flower for a couple weeks.

:peace:Dude this is the way to go! All organic nutes, use as directed on website, grow big for veg tiger bloom and big bloom for flower, and open sesame for the last week of veg first two weeks of flower, then switch to the beastie bloom for fattening up the buds, and then finally use the cha ching to get those beautiful plants glowing with crystal. the 3 pack of sub ferts, are about $60 bucks on ebay if you can find them thats where i get mine about $100 in the store, they come in small 1 lb containers. This shit works like god himself !!!!!!!

Go to fox farms website. The feeding schedule is spelled out for you. Pretty self explainitory. I use earth juice grow, bloom, catalyst and their micronutes. I add fox farms beastie blooms on week 3 and 4. Earth juice is much milder and therefore in my opinion easier for a newbie. Less chance to over fert or burn plants. Go easy with the Ff

alright thanks- the schedule is pretty easy, every other watering 2 teaspoons of each mixed together in same watering jug.

Yo, Once you start to use the the differnet nutes, it will become clear very quickly on how what why and when to use, definetly unse at least 1/2 strength when starting to use any nute. Never know how the strain will react. I have had no ill affects from any of the progress. Oh yea, the reason for the grow into the flower period is to pack in as much nitrogen as you can do no deficiencies develop. Check out the table on the website it shows exactly how to use them. every other watering don't over do it! They will work trust me ! :peace:
