Foxtail?? Help please

I agree with @hotrodharley

Looks like you probably used too much nitrogen during flower. It retards flowering and makes not only the bud look odd but also cuts down your harvest severely

Not to mention all other nutes as well from the looks of the burns on the leaves.

I was only using half the recommended dose of nutes and some of the leaves were going pale, the local hydro shop told me it could be a deficiency so use the full amount recommend.

so what can I do to fix this or stop it happening anymore? Use less nutes? I’m using biobizz grow biobizz bloom and biobizz top max along with cal mag.

#1 most important thing I can share with you.

The Hydro shops generally don't know shit.

Each and every plant in the world has different tolerance for nutes. In fact they have a different tolerance for each type of nute.

Your job is to give it just enough to keep it happy. If %50 is too much its too much.

What's the medium? Any other additives? Besides bud growth, the rest of the plant is showing signs of late stage nitrogen toxicity. Maybe just plain water or something with just P and K? Either way I'd still smoke that.

Medium is biobizz all mix soil, no other additives. I’m thinking maybes to stop using the biobizz grow as this has More nitrogen and just to use the bloom to finish off.

Noticed this on some of my plants is it foxtailing? It’s hard to tell on the pics but the buds seem light and airy as well. The plants are Pineapple Express autos.
In future if you see tips of leaves burn then lower your nutes... spot this way earlier.

I see so many people having weird issues with Bio Bizz all mix. You probably got into trouble because that stuff is heavily fertilized to begin with, so even adding a half dose of nutes pushed them over the edge. I'd also get a good TDS pen and start measuring out your feeds with that rather than going by manufacturer directions-though Bio Bizz is organic so it probably wouldn't read well on a pen.

Excellent advise on the TDS pen. Wouldn't be without mine. I think you're most likely correct @Rurumo, I had to use some 'posh' expensive stuff from the supermarket as I was desperate during our lock down. Crazy hot, I was feeding at around 500ppm, week 3 veg, and still having problems. Hot soil mixes suck unless you made them!

I use hot soil pre mixed with fabulous results. Just don't add nutes until the plant shows slight deficiencies. Many times that won't be until flowering if it's good soil.

Each to their own. I find it difficult to maintain the appropriate levels of various elements throughout and don't really trust the ratios with your average. Makes it harder to correct when its already there but you're not sure how much.
Not saying it can't be done, just in my experience. Of course if its a mix you've made yourself for the purpose I would say different.
