Freaking Slugs Help...

Outside stealth grow, 5 gallon grow fabric pots. Slugs always tend to eat right at the base of young plants and cut them in half. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Copper repels them! My wife bought copper foil tape and put a strip around the top of the planter boxes. Works great! Ive heard of people using bare copper wire in the same way.

i also bought some relatively cheap copper foil tape from amazon because i read the same thing. i also heard copper wire doesn't work as well. i tried the wire once but it was very thick guage and they could still get under it where i tied it. i would def recommend the tape

Seaweed meal. acts as a top dress also. I just sprinkle a ring around the base - about 6" out, all the way around. also make sure plants are big and strong when they go out, that helps.
