Not what I had in mind when my buddy called me over :eyesmoke:

Opossums were eating his chickens so he set traps, and caught a skunk. Luckily the little guy was in a good mood. Got hairy for a minute, first time I got the cage open it slammed shut and spooked him. Got it opened and secured, and hauled ass, no sense in pressing my luck.

You know you can put a bedsheet or something over it so you don't get sprayed lol

I had a tarp just in case, but luckily the side of the barn and the trap door of the trap blocked me from his vision. My buddy said it acted a fool when he got near it. It was chill when I got there. Maybe I was putting off a little skunk scent myself and it put him at ease :blsmoke:

Pro tip:
Put the trap in a contractor garbage bag, so if you do catch a skunk it's less likely you'll get sprayed.
