Do these beat getting a cheap hygrometer and hanging them in your tents? Asking because no one else asked yet :eyesmoke:

Pros?
Cons?

Pro-you can see temp and humidity on your phone sitting on your couch and know everything is doing good.
Con-you can potentially spend less time in your grow, if your not in there you don’t see problems Before/as they arise

Sweet. Love to be able to watch from my phone. Set alarms for high/low. And it's right on accurate with my digital thermometer/hygrometer and my inkbird humidity controller. Super happy buying a bunch of these for all my tents and rooms. Small enough to even fit in a larger jar for curing
Thumbs up @Inkbird
Ya my temps a little on the high side but been scorching hot in Ontario and I don't have central AC just window units and portables. Keeps the house around 75 which is ok but not great

This is a great little bluetooth temp and humidity monitor. Setup with the app was quick and easy, and nice to be able to monitor with my cell phone. The data logging is an awesome feature, so that you can track changes in temp and humidity over time. I also like that this takes easily replaceable AAA batteries, compared to some similar devices which use expensive watch batteries. This device is a bit larger than the Govee device I've been using, and it seems to be more responsive to changes in temp and humidity as well.

I bought 2 of these sensors to use with my new smartphone. I installed all the stuff needed and updated the phone software. I then downloaded the Engbird app and installed it.

It just sits there looking for the sensors. New batteries and Bluetooth is turned on. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. New to smartphones. Samsung galaxy A12

Received about 2 weeks ago and have been using it in my 4x4 tent, gotta say.. this thing is a dream come true for me!

So happy to know the stats when I’m in bed worried about the temps or Rh. Helps me sleep better at night ahah.

very accurate and love seeing the graph of the week (helps me stabilize the environment better). The fact that it uses AAA batteries is another bonus.

A++ product! Will recommend.

Ps. I know, my Rh is quite low, but battling PM currently. It’s been awesome having this piece alert me when Rh raises too high

Got both of mine going. Needed new(er) batteries. I can get temp and humidity readings from my living room but the graphs don't work. Says I'm too far away from the sensors. I walk 3 feet closer to them and it works. It must be too many walls in between me and the sensors.

Weird that it can read the temp and humidity constantly but can't do a graph due to distance.
