Fresh buds and vaporisors

My friends and I call the brown stuff that's left over 'vape-poo'.

Been vaping off of a Hot Box for 2 years now. Great flavor and no lingering smell for visitors to wonder about.

I agree with Longhorn that moist bud is the way to go.

Since I only vape, I'm wondering if anyone would recommend trimming or curing differently than for a smoke. I grow more than I need, so I still trim all but the smallest leaves. I also tend to break big buds up into nuggets-- more convenient to grind (also 8" buds would kinda give away the fact I'm growing).

you should cure the buds the same way...

I have they same problem, I only grow for personal use. After doing a bunch of reading I am going to quick dry with dehydrator, water cure, and normal cure when I harvest. Seems water cure would be great for vapes. This is my plan for a great test. I have 5 dif strains so this will be fun. :bigjoint:

I scored a new vap on ebay but it hasn't come in yet. I've always smoked my herb so looking forward to the new cleaner experience. It'll be my first grinder too so lots of new things to learn, LOL. Guess it's time to retire the zigzags.

if u can vaporize it u sure as hell can smoke it. A flame burns at a higher temperature than vaporizing does... wet buds are difficult to vaporize and taste like grass ew! if u are going to use your buds wait and cure u are wasting thc because it has not been converted from thca to thc even tho the heat will help it it won't do that much that quickly and ur high will be short lived most likely. PATIENCE is key dry it out slow and cure it for 60 days if u can. Some clubs I go to don't have a 60 day cure policy.

Bullshit fresh weed has always gotten me just as high when vaped. I have actually tested it. :-P

me too bud it will get u high but not nearly as high as it should...learn the facts before u call bs that shit is annoying. maybe u have a low tolerance.

I can't vape fresh bud (silver surfer) - well actually I can, but I get real bad headaches if I do - same for smoking. It has to be dried and cured for me.

The problem with uncured bud for me: it is a dead give away that I grow. Besides, the wet stuff clogs up my grinder.

I am sure there is advantage to smaller leaves, everything is on the leaves, I am going to try this when I finish this next grow see how it works!

how is water cured bud in a vaporizer? I only vape my bud and I've got a fresh harvest in water now and I'm terrified that it's going to be crap.. still i couldnt resist trying it.

the same, both should be pretty dry before vaping
