Full Spectrum Cannabis Extraction Methods

Hi everyone. Havnt been on the forums for years but im back now . And I want to discuss full spectrum tincture extractions.

My main concern is being able to measure active cannabinoids professionally.

I have been studying 'weight to volume' ratios of tinctures ( Eg. [1:4] - 1 being the amount of dryed plant material and 4 being the amount of total liquid solvent used)

I am wondering about a few things. Measuring exact mg of present cannabinoids for every ml of tincture.

Perhaps making a rick simpson type oil ( iso extract - phoenix tears) first and then dissolving that into 94% grain alcohol at desired proportions would be the easiest way to standardize the measurements of Cannabinoids to solvent ratio so I would know exactly how much active ingredient is present in say 1 ml of tincture.

Im really interesting in learning more about tincturing and profession standardization of dosage and measurments. All input is welcome. Much love to all !

Learning about this myself so here for the follow. All I can comment tho is that you'd want more pure than 94% alcohol.

More than 94%? Can you ellaborate? The 94% grain ethyl alcohol is for the finished product for administering the medicine. ( Tincture)

To produce the extract i would use 99% iso alcohol.

Basically. Make regular cannabis oil extract using 99% iso.

Then measure how much extracted oil you want to use in your tincture. ( eg. 1000 mg of oil )

Then Measure out a tincture bottles worth of 94% ethyl alcohol (eg. 50 ml )

Then dissolve the 1000 mg of extracted oil in the 50 ml of 94% ethyl alcohol.

Then you would know that 50ml of tincture contains 1000 mg of cannabinoid in the form of full spectrum extracted oil.

So then you can do the math and know how much active cannabinoids are present in 1 ml of tincture for dosing.

Make sense?

Im just wondering if this is the easiest and best way to standardize dosage and measurments for a tincture product.
