thanks guys. Makes posting and uploading pictures worth it :)

They are around 16" tall right now. I LST the shit out of most of them before I left for field work on sunday. It looked like a scene from hell raisers I had them stretched so many ways. Wife said that some are touching the screen now so when I get home tonight late late late I'll take a look and decide to flip or not. I have around 28" to work with above the screen so I think I should flip now, train for the first week or so of veg and then let them go.

yes, I'll definately lollipop when the time comes. yet another use for the light meter:)

I love my light meter!!! Its so much fun taking random measurements and thinking about how you want to lay them all out!! :)

I'm looking forward to watching you scrog, I want to learn about that method! :) Post pics of your training or something soon :)

Came home to four days out of town to this:-P:shock::shock: !!!! Holy Shit...FLIP ! FLIP ! FLIP!

What a difference a single week can make!
Here is a pic 8 days ago and then today.

So needless to say, I installed the 600 HPS's, set the balllasts to super lumen and started pulling shit all around in an attempt to spread things out. Going to cut some clones tomorrow and thin out some of the J. H. on the right as they are simply too fucking bushy. Apparently Jack goes a little nuts when he is fimmed.

Here is the Left side of the SCROG screen.. and the right side

Do grow journals typically not see much traffic or comments or is my grow exceptionally weak? Seems like allot of work for not a whole lot of return?

Anyways..
time to clear the salts out of the table for the flower phase:
10 ml clearex per gallon.
Flooded the table 4 times
45 ppm to start
1st flush 77ppm
2nd flush 83 ppm
3rd 87 ppm
4th 89 ppm

Then I changed the Rez over to the flower transition phase all amounts are per gallon:

Grow 7.5ml
Bloom 7.5ml
cal/mag 5 ml
liquid karma 7ml
8 teaspoons of GH myco M powder
1000 ppm Ph 5.9

plants looking good. lots of bending twisting and just general scrogging

Seems most folks are more likely to comment on your mistakes than your success but the views rather than the comments are more indicative of interest imho. fwiw I think your grow rocks!

A grow journal will give you credibility. Yours looks very good so far so when you post some advice, people should recognize that you're no stranger to growing ;).

Im loving your grow... Im setting up my first grow as I write, final testing of my ebb gro tomorrow, I was really interested in the issues with your hydroton, I bought the prewashed 45l flourentus, I will fill them in the pots and let them soak for about an hour then drain the system before I do anything. What brand did you use?

Ummm the one with the big "hydroton" stamped on it. Ie not sure. Never heard of that particular brand but word on the street is that the all come from 1 or 2 places. Regardless, heed these words my friend... Soak that stuff!!

Fill a 5 gallon half full and ph to around 5.8 or so. Then dump the hydroton in. I can almost guarantee it wil rise. I put a metric shitload of ph down over th course of two says to stabalize it. Works great now.

I was looking at the ebb and grow for my expansion. I think I'm going to cobble together an aero setup. Just a whole lot cheaper.
Some panda film, two hoses a pump and some PVC with sprinkler heads. :)

My bad legalfly, the brand is hydrokorrels... my tap ph is 6.2 and about 50-60 ppm,,, lucky on my tap water I suppose, but I will surely fill&soak them in the pots (30 2gal) today and drain them,,, TWICE! Keep up the posting&pics.... Im excited and a bit nervous about my first grow...

Thanks for the posts guys! Frogster, let them soak at least a whole day. If you have that much hydroton you should probably just use your bathtub. I would soak below 6 as your ph will steadily climb. No reason to be apprehensive about growing, just do your homework and teach yourself the physiology of the plants and how they react to different conditions. Never change more than one thing in your grow room at a time, be patient, and take detailed notes.

So....the screens filling out nicely? change nutes?,,, ... I was also wondering about your mh lights,,, are you leaving them in the whole grow.? I have been studying lights and the different spectrums (way too much) and have really found only 2 decent bulbs (other than the duel elements)for an entire grow. a 400watt cmh by phillips, here is a chart: cmh vs hps ( https://www.icmag.com/ic/picture.php?albumid=17198&pictureid=355251 ), . and a 1000w eye hortilux blue mt1000d that puts out 80,000 lumens (expensive!), but the spectrum range for plants far exceeds other bulbs abilities. ( http://www.eyehortilux.com/EQS-N-52-86-00002.pdf ).. I believe Old school growers in the 70's only used mh through the entire grow.. from what I understand it doesnt stress out the plants (harder to nute burn) and you get better Trichs with mh.... I read a good point about lumens... who cars how many lumens if your only getting a certain percentage of correct nm... example, you have 100k lumens but only 15k of that is the spectrum a plant uses... yikes!
