Fumble's First Grow

Alright...no more drama! Sucking it up and learning from the experience. Hopefully I got all the rotted parts off the CC. I trimmed up what could be saved out of the rotted kolas. The biggest one next to the skittles is the center top kola. I don't know how much there is. I guess I need a scale or something? The rest will be made into butter. Maybe some canna banana bread. I do have to say, that it is pretty damn good. I have been smoking almost nothing but the CC since my return and have been nicely high. I can't wait to smoke it when she finishes.

So I guess the color on the PK is a good thing. I thought something was wrong with them. So just looking at them, they look done, but I am seeing amber and white under the scope, but still mostly white. I was going to start trimming tomorrow, or do you think I should wait another week for more amber?

Well, the ladybugs are doing their thing. I will put a few more out every couple of days. I still have the white flies, but not nearly as many. The buds are forming nicely too. Getting crystalized. She smells way different than the other two. The PK is super stinky, but the smell of decomp helps cover it up. lol There is a full liquid fly trap in the garbage can.

How do you guys like my drying rack?

Nice pics fumble! Thanks for the support and everything! Lots been goin on but i plan to get to the bottom of it though. I will be back in the bay area tomorrow for about a week or two. Gona get together with kotton mouth kings go over some plans and ideas. Going to try to make the best of everything as always. Things look good over there you manage to get a vacation in? Some people mentioned you took off. Hope all is well!

Yeah, I went back to PA for my son's wedding. I am glad to be back in CA!

Thanks so much means a lot to me. Me and the members down here in socal got together and its helped me tons. We think there is some fraud involved so tomorrow is the beginning of the learning. Yea me and kmk were just gonna chill toss around some dates maybe a good time would be for all of us to get together. Thats going to be a great day! haha but yea we will get it worked out. Since everyone is some what close i am sure we can put together a nice little gathering. What you using to feed your stuff with anyways? Next year i am going to run teas and such : )

I started the year with Miracle Gro. Ran out of that and switched to GH's trio of nutes, because we had some left over. It works great, but I don't like all the white residue it leaves (salts I'm guessing?). I will be doing all organic next year. I have been flushing the PK for a couple weeks now and started flushing the CC. I am still feeding the GR.

Thanks mr. bond, Mugan, and Brandon. *blushing* Yeah, those little lady bugs are going to town! For the rain, I built pvc shelters. You can check them out a few pages back. I def don't want any more bud rot!

Hey there TMB, DJJ! I got the rack at JoAnn fabrics on Sunrise. They were originally 119$, but I got it for less than 50$. I saw it when I first walked in the store (for wedding stuff) and there were 3 of them on this clearance table. They were still there when I was in line, so I grabbed one. Good thing, because the other two went quickly. I will be switching the paper towels out for newspaper - thanks Wheezer!

other than environmental control is there any other way to fight bud rot ?

muggie: there's a product called "serenade" that works well as a preventative: it's a biological of some sort.... i think it's a mold-eating bacteria? stinks though.

yes one way baking soda and water
but best way is milk and water milk 10 % and water 90%
works in the amazon rain forest

Well, we started trimming up the PK yesterday. I think we did about 3/4ths of the top kolas. Going to do more today, but leave the soft, fluffy stuff to go a bit longer. Here are a few pics of some of the biggest kolas and my full drying rack. I guess I should have bought all three racks!

got the covers on for the approaching rain. Kinda cool when you stick your head under there. I may just leave them up after harvest so I can sit in there and smoke.

I had to take a pic of my after trim dinner. New york with loaded mash and peas, with marinated and grilled shrimp wrapped in prosciutto with a balsamic glaze. mmmm

Hey there...If it were me, I would snipp off all the small buds that make the big kola to check for mold if you are still having that issue. But other than that you're doing an awesome job!!! Keep up the good work!

Lol, but seriously, nugs look as good as the dinner, I was going to chop down a king konger today myself, but I found a spot of PM on them, so it'll have to wait tomorrow, I sprayed some Green Cure on there. I chopped down a little 6" autoflower that finally finished up, it turned out to be mainly super sticky fluffy duff, but it was cool to watch grow, I only fertilized it once it's entire life, the large soil container was able to feed it entirely though out it's life. It really didn't need the fertilizer too much, I could have finished without it. Lol, I'll be lucky if I get an eighth off of it.
