Fungus Gnats and sexuality

Hey all,

EDIT: just re-read my title and it sure is misleading: I meant sex as in "has the plant showed it's sex yet", not sexuality as in "her sexuality made me crazy!"

My latest attempt at four plants ended sadly today with the end result that all four turned out male. Four out of four makes me suspicious. Four weeks of growing down the drain too. :cuss:

Interestingly, I had soil that had bugs in it...turns out they were fungus gnats. Tried my best to eradicate them, but failed.

Can fungus gnats, or their larvae stress a plant out and turn it male or did I just have bad genetics to begin with. These were average bagseed. Just curious if anyone has any insight. My first grow a few months ago produced two females out of two seeds (better bagseed). Must have been beginners luck...

Anyways, germing four more as I write...I'm so bummed it bumps my harvest out another month...oh well, October will be nice. peace :leaf:
