Future problems with smell?

Hey guys,
So i have a few pictures of my setup here

Ive got a 80mm fan that circulates air but is not for the future odor of the plants and ive got a 115w cfl, (I do realise ive got 2 plants and need more than that but i will move one to another styrafoam box) also i have a digital timer
I also do realise that this one is too small so dont worry its just for seedlings for the time being i have bigger things to keep my babies in:):weed:

So i have a bathroom extractor fan i wanted to know if that will help with the future odor <---------------------
I know about carbon filters and they help with security majorly and i do appreciate that people inform me about them but as they are really expensive im looking for some other options
I dont know if my setup is alright but here are some pictures:joint:

Oh plus im growing it with rosemary lmao

That box looks very flammable mate not having a dig just concerned for a fellow smokers safety [safety first then teamwork] lol but seriously i would swap that for ply wood go to tip if you can and look for offcuts or old cupboard i wouldnt use foam and i think carbon filter is only option that will work you can obtain small ones on ebay pretty cheap or maybe charcoal crushed packed into a can with hole at either end put in exhaust vent [isnt carbon just charcoal anyway] just shooting some ideas for ya

How old are you?
Carbon filters are only 'really expensive' to someone earning $11 a week from a newspaper delivery route.
There are people living in Calcutta slums who can afford carbon filters.

I agree... Box looks like it's bound to melt.. And I'm sure it won't have a problem with doing so if the light touches..

Also, carbon filters aren't expensive... You can get a fan and filter for less then 200 bucks... Is it worth 200 bucks to save you from years of prison time? Maybe not years from two plants, but you get the point I hope. You need to be able to afford the minimum requirements for growing, or you shouldn't do it until you can.

How the hell exactly is an extractor fan supposed to help with the smell? Read up on how a carbon filter works... You will NEED one. There are no incense or plug ins or Febreeze or anything that will make it ok.

Also, are you just going to keep on creating threads until you find sumbody who co-signs your bullshit? How bout you just post your questions in one thread?

Im sorry i hurt your feelings, but if you haven't noticed different problems come up at multiple times throughout the day
If it hasn't occured to you already which it probably has this is newbie central i thought an extractor fan serves the purpose of extracting smells and odors but evidently it doesn't
Dont get all butt hurt, you dont have to answer my question if you dont want to, i dont appreciate the negative feedback
In the future i will post in one thread if the idea comes all at once, with education i take breaks throughout the day so sorry if any of this escapes my mind but i do focus on everything else lol
Thanks anyways though.

he's not 'butt hurt" he's trying to help and sometimes newbs don't listen :) To give you an example, I just had a few northern lights autos growing outside. Autos don't smell? Northern Lights is low odour? the last few weeks you could smell the shit down the street. Now a carbon filter should be high priority to all newbs.

Lol, okay im happy to change but im not the one being immature about this
huh? You posted several threads in here that I've seen throughout the week and you're the one asking for advice... Not us.. We already did and learned from out mistakes but that's besides the point... Anyways... So you're asking for advice and we're telling you straight up facts like your box is a fire hazard.. You're like don't worry about it I'll move it soon. Do you realize how fast that thing can go up in flames? I guess not.. Maybe when you're involved in house fires you will know. You asked about smell and how bad it is, we tell you your neighbors will smell it... And now we're immature here... I don't understand... Am I retarded? You prolly say yeah...

just to add, one becomes somewhat familiarised to the smell of smoking or growing (forget the fancy terminology) . What u can smell isn't necessarily what your housemates or neighbours can smell. I don't want to unduly concern you and u prob wont need a filter for several weeks, but something to look into later, there's even a homemade scrubber thread here somewhere, good luck
