when growing with auto-flowering plants like the G13 labs Poison Dwarf, does it help to switch to 12/12 after 2 months when it auto-flowers? or is it better to keep the lighting hours the same for the plants whole life

from what i understand about autoflowering plants is that it doesnt take 2 months at all,it only takes 2 weeks before she will start flowering,and the normal lighting schedule is 20/4 because they start to flower depending on age instead of photoperiod,again dont quote me directly,but this is what folks around here say

Hi. I grew a few of them a little while ago. Sadly had a 1 out of 4 female turn-out. Nice bud though!
No keep it on 20/4 or 18/6 whichever one you prefer. They flower on age, not photo period.
Mine started flowering in about week 3-4.

I grew Poison Dwarf, and growing my 2nd batch right now. I let mine go to 16/8 after week 2 of flower (week 5 from seed) and it matured FAST. In 9 1/2 weeks I harvested (forget about harvesting in 8 weeks from seed... unless you plan it outdoors near the equador).
This 2nd batch is grwing under 18/6 from seed, and it is taking more time to mature. I'm on week 8 and it remains at leat 2 more weeks to go. But I think the bud is growing bigger this time around.
