Strain: G13 Labs Thai Super Skunk

Growth: Soil, 400 watt MH/HPS with Sunmaster Bulbs.

Nutes: Technaflora B.C. Nutrients

Yield: Have not checked, take a guess :)

Bag Appeal: 8/10: Good, a total Sativa with tons of resin and trich's. A little too leafy though.

Smell: 10/10: This bud smells crazy! It starts smelling like toasted orange, then goes to pine, and finally finishes with a sugary sweet/ earthy smell :)

Taste: 8/10: Really earthy and with lots of resin. Great for rolling joints and one of the smoothest bong rips I have ever had :)

The High: 7/10: Very euphoric and energetic. Total creeper that will hit you hard 5 minutes after smoking. Not reccomended for medicinal purposes, this bud is for str8 up getting high ;)

Comments: All in al this was one of the funnest plants I have ever grown! A lot of people talked shit about this strain without any information or good smoke reports about it. So I really wanted to grow it to give it a fair chance I suppose :)

If you are a Sativa fan then you will like this strain. True, it takes a long time to finally get done but it is worth it in my opinion. One of the plants I flowered for 87 days and the other for 103 days so you really need some patience :) But hey, that's a Sativa for you right.

These plant are total survivors and took everything I could throw at them like a fucking champ. Since they were free I decided to deem them my "experimental" plants. So I topped them, fimed them, and even super-cropped them. They took it easily and kept on growing. All in all a very stable strain that thrives!

The only thing I did not like about this strain was the copius ammounts of leaves these girls had. I mean, they kept growing set after set of fan leaves that would die off and come back, which made it a BITCH to prune! It took me hours upon hours to manicure them for their dry/ cure.

So basically if you like a great energetic, trippy, euphoric high then this would be a great strain for you. But if you don't have the patience then I would stay far away! Like I said, I really liked growing this strain but I doubt I will be growing it again. My Sativa fix is satisfied for at least year and this strain produced maybe enough till the next one!

:peace:

Hope you enjoyed the report and here is some eye candy to give you a better understanding of how this plant grows.

I am a HUGE fan of Durban Poison!

This was a good sativa but still does not come close to Dutch Passion's DP :)

I would easily reccomend Dutch Passion Durban Poison. It is actually my favorite strain of all time.

Make sure you have the room for it though, they get huge!

Sorry, had to report this guy, calls himself ilikebud, he put up a post sayin he was gonna kill a n***er. What a bitch! Anyway, yeah I got the room! my wife and I just bought a house with 9ft ceilings, so how big do they get? is it best to let em go with minimal trimming?

I have found that sativas can take a lot more trimming and topping than indica's.

If you have enough light then they can get upwards of 15 feet tall. So, If you do grow it (and you should) then I would suggest topping the DP at least once.

DownOnWax I am 3 weeks into flowering with one mom Thai and took 4 clones that are two days into flowering with some other reggies. I’ll tell you what though you right about them taking anything you throw at them. A true survivor. I topped the one mom Thai but did it wrong (I fucked up) so it’s just branches. But it’s healthy all in all. Here are some pics of mine. Thanks for Your Review I had my doubts about the strain but seeing your pics reassured me of its potential. I have posted A few pics of mine Thai Super Skunk and clones with other bagseed plants.

If you don't mine me asking how long did you hang dry and cure for?
I deprive my plants of H2O for 5 days before I cut so these girls only took about another 5 days to dry.

Plus the fact that it is a fluffy sativa takes a couple days off.

Still curing, 1 plant has been jar cured for 3 weeks now and just keeps getting better.

I have 2 females about 10 weeks into 12/12 and not even close
looks like 4 more weeks for sure
it's very airy and wispy like bud. Mine don't have very many trichs yet. I'm curious about the smoke
guess I'm waiting 6 more weeks till I'm smoking her
I like 8/9 week plants lol

Have you heard of water curing, I have done it before and think I might do some with the skunk. Did you trim yours a lot at the bottom or kept some lower buds. Thanks for your help i find this sativa a interesting strain cuz to tell you the though my girl has been through some shit.

Yeah, these girls take a while to get to the end. My advice is pluck those fan leaves asap in the final weeks of flowering! They get sucked up into the buds and are a Biatch to get out.

She is worth it though ;)

Yes I have heard of and tried water curing :) It is a strange method and I am not really into it. It takes away a lot of the things that I like about MJ. It has a faint smell and still get's you high but I like the taste and smoke of a properly cured bud :)

And yes, I trimmed the shit out of my Skunks. I took off at least 50 small popcorn nugs in the early stages of flowering. These bitches almost love to be pruned, think of them as a boxwood!

Your girl will come back, be consistant!

Yes, you can totally tell this plant is done without using a 60x microscope. Just shine a flashlight on it when it is getting close, if using a HPS bulb it is hard to tell :) It has that golden/ almost shiny look to it because of all the trich's.

does the thai still carry the chocolate smell/taste after a time of curing?
Maybe a little bit, it is a very aromatic strain but I got mostly pine/ citrus with mine.
