Garage grow problems before we start! Construction help needed!

just sounded like he said in so many words didnt want to fool with removeing all the sideing is all and i build in fl and ga also just giveing him a quick fix for his issue cause in his orginal post he said he wanted to fix it without haveing to go threw a whole lot least thats what i gathered from his orginal post and in his case the masonite was used didnt say i would also use masonite like that doesnt suprize me at all seeing how they didnt even breakit on a stud and masonite is shitty excuse for a wall covering i know what the correct way is to fix it but can lead a horse to water but cant makem drink

I have some building experience I would just pull off your lap siding and replace everything that isn't osb or cdx plywood with 7/16th osb, then fix your gutter or whatever issues your having and drywall your garage walls with 1/2 drywall. Just take your time and make sure you fix the problem not just fix the damage.
