I still have a lot of fill in/color work to do on my bicep to finish the cover up and just a bit more color her and there on my forearm. There are the exact number of vert. in the spine, the ribs are correct. It's all in the detail! The video cant even come close to doing it justice there are a lot of dark colors that really pop when you see it.
More than a grand well spent.

Holy crap. Its good work but you paid too much. Even half that price would still be pricey.

Care to post any of your work? Far from over priced! $150 is a buddy deal for a good artist in seattle, frisco, l.a.! My guy is famous in the tattoo world He is booked for months at a time! Mention his name to another tattoo artist that's really in the scene and they know him, if you've read a tattoo mag recently you've probably seen his work!

as a tattoo artist you should know that the pictures cant really show the detail and flow of the detail on a sleeve or any big piece you can't fit in a single picture.

True that, but you fell into the all too common situation where you paid for the name of the artist. You could have gotten the same work from a less known artist for alot cheaper.

I didn't pay for a name at all! I know the guy! I don't mind paying extra for thing that deserve the extra. My stomach surgeon was Dr. Gordon Klatt. Founder of the american cancer society relay for life. Sure I could have had the same surgery by another surgeon that would have turned out just about as good but it's my body, I'll pay a little more for the best!

Well, you can never have too much quality for something permanent.

I have people grabbing my arm stopping me to look at it, even other guys covered in ink. Then when they hear who did it they jock my shit even more. Even if I did pay anything extra for name big deal! I have 95 subaru impreza (built sti swap) that makes a ferrari look like a VW bettle around the track and in the 1/4 mile. Would I buy a ferrari? Hell yes I would. Not because it's faster or performs better in any way, the subaru can drive in the rain/dirt/snow. Only for the name and looks!

So now I have to ask - who did it?
