Genetically modified purple tomatoes

Hey gardeners, have just been reading about the genetically modified purple tomato which has been approved for release in America , I have grown many dark skinned tomatoes, but these new ones really have a bright purple flesh
There is one out there called Indigo apple and another I know as red and black, but their flesh is a dark red,

I'm led to believe the seed will be released shortly for sale to those in America, I can only assume they would be a hybrid, and not an heirloom, does anybody know anything much about these as yet
I would love to give them a go but being in Aus, I don't think that possibleScreenshot_20220914-080435.png

Well if it's genetically modified then it's definitely not an heirloom. They added genes from a Snapdragon. It's supposed to have a 10 times as much antioxidants.

It should be a requirement that all GMO plants have terminator genes built into them, or it could really fuck up natural biodiversity.
Some really problematic native vegetation over running southern MI and northern IN around Monsanto college extension grows. Fucked up stuff.
