And no votes were suppressed.

Again, I live here. You're worse than the republicans that read crap on the internet and go full-blown retard over it with no evidence at all to support any of it.
Somebody piss in your cornflakes again?

I could give more examples but I don’t want to go all retard over it.

That's the absolute crap I'm talking about.

The entire voter list purge program was created and put into action by DEMOCRATS. That particular purge had been going on for years. What they don't tell you is what it took to actually get purged from the list. Here's what it took:
  • In order to even make the list, you had to have NOT VOTED in at least the last three consecutive elections.
  • If you made the list, a registered letter was sent to the last known address asking if you were still there. If you returned that letter (postage was already paid) then you remained on the list.
  • If no response was received, a physical check was done. People literally went out knocking on doors. For MONTHS.
When all the crap articles like that started coming up, it was actually investigated by everybody. They were all given lists of the actual voters purged from the voter registers.

Not a single one was found to be invalid.

The majority of those purged either:
  • Died
  • Moved out of state
  • Moved to another county and had not updated their registry - most of these people were found and re-registered.
That's all there ever was to it.

Again, I live here. You read bullshit on the internet.

No, just not an internet conspiracy theorist.

It was hysterical watching the news. WSB had investigators with lists in hand checking it out. At one point they came to a place where several purged voters were supposed to live.

It was no longer a street with houses at all. It had been completely leveled and turned into a shopping center.

That sort of thing happened on most of the lists.

Versus the old "I'm a Canadian reading articles on the internet and it must be all true" argument.

Yeah. Sounds legit.

You buy into QAnon too, right? After all, it's on the internet.

Not everything on the internet is false either. I trust my ability to determine what is a legitimate news source and from my experience The Atlantic is one.

Are you comparing The Atlantic to Qanon? Where do you suggest I get information on parts of the world where I don’t live?

Goes to thread on anything to do with MJ: Everybody arguing. Goes to thread on politics: Most everyone agrees.... This is a strange place on the internet.
The trick is to learn about sock puppets and cat fishing. Mostly those 'people' on other sites are just trolls arguing with themselves to convince the actual people visiting those sites into thinking whatever crazy shit they want to believe is reality.

While the suppressed vote in the 2018 race might not have been enough to flip the outcome, it did light a fire under black folk in Georgia. The lawsuits that followed did made some very real changes. But the biggest thing was to get people who had not voted because they didn't think the Democrats had a chance registered and out to the polls.
