Four days ago (almost to the hour) I put 3 World of Seeds Colombian Gold, landrace seeds, in a paper towel moistened with distilled water. I put the towel in a zip lock bag, blew in a little air, and tucked it into a storage can and put it on top of the fridge. I was not expecting to see 4" tap roots when I checked on them just now! One has even shed it's hull. I prepared some beautiful soil for it, using a cake spatula to move the dirt aside in a nice deep, long groove. I gently planted them and everything seemed to go perfectly. I watered them in and put them under LED lights. This was my most favorite weed back in the day; famed for not only it's amazing terps but also for the psychedelic qualities of it. Anyone ever seen weed seeds this vigorous?
As a side note, I got a Dinafem White Widow freebie and germed it at the same time but the tap root is barely 1/8" long, so I put it back in the can til it gets to at least an inch long.
