Here is the plant life cycles: Germination stage 1-14 days; Seedling stage 1-2 weeks; Vegation stage 1-2 mo's; Pre-flower stage 1-14 days; Flower stage 1-3 mo's (depends on strain) So you are all right. You will find the Patience is the hardest issue to deal with, so you are not alone

nice one mate big big help :) been reading through the forums and think i might have had the temp a lil too high as well dropped it down to 26c. does that sound about right to you? have ya been growing long?

You should see a bent stem emerge within 24 hours of your seed cracking. Withing next 24 hours you should see the cotyledon leaves. If you aren't seeing this progression, you may have fried her up with your high temps. Not sure how hot you had her, but they are pretty sensitive as new sprouts.

I have a seed I found in some pine tar kush that I germinated and planted. It cracked open with 15 hours and sprouted in 24. I sprinkled a little water where the seed was and when I woke up I had this. It's now 2 days old. I think it really depends on strain and genetics.

i think i may have fried it then as its day 6 now and only had the bent stem come out, temp was at 28 29c and had it on a 18/6 schedule, should i have kept light on all the time for the temp consistency? thanks again for ya help much appreciated to you all :)

I keep a light on mine 24/7 when I think they are about to pop up, to prevent stretch. So it won't hurt.
