Germination question

So I'm gonna plant 2-3 Northern lights autos in a guerilla spot a few miles from my house,I have put the seeds inside a glass of water(just like I germinate them every time) but I usually leave them for about 48 hrs and then plant into soil. However these next 48 hrs are going to be full of rain and I don't want to plant because rain may overwater my seedling, I'm wondering if I can keep them 72 hrs in water without drowning them, or if I can put them in a wet paper towel after they germinated so I can store them for another 24 hours.Also Open to suggestions on other ways to store them post germination.

just take them out at 24hrs and put them between wet paper towels and into a zip bag. they will be fine in there for a while.

Once they crack I water u should pull them. Either into paper towels or your medium

No reason you can't start them in dirt and transplant outside when they are strong enough

Just put some soil in a solo cup and plant the seeds.

Here is a good guide, start them inside, direct to soil, then before planting them out you need to "harden off" the seedlings. Put them outside for 30 min on the first day, then increase the time outside each day for a week or even longer. If you start seeds indoors then plant them directly outside without hardening them off, they will likely die. Good luck!
