Germination

Hi guys, I am thinking about cracking some seeds soon and I was just wondering once my seeds crack and I place them into the coco medium, how much water should I be giving them? Should I just be keeping them moist and not damp so they can carry on germinating? Should I be giving them About 20 or 30ml a day sprayed or dripped onto the top of the medium until they pop up? I have looked on YouTube and everywhere but they only show you the part where they put the seeds in a cup of water and wait until they crack and then the video ends. I haven't grown in such a long time and I don't want to get it wrong they cost me $250 for 10 seeds they are in house genetics s"MAC"kin. Any help is appreciated, cheers guys

Okay dude, I will make sure the top of the soil stays moist. I used to grow a lot back in the day but I have been taking a break, I just don't want to mess it up because I spent about $250 on the seeds and if it goes wrong I don't have another 250 to buy more I am broke as hell right now lol

I don’t grow in coco but plan on it soon. Coco for cannabis ( one word) is a decent site to check out

Here's what I do for Coco. Once it's put into the starting pot of my choosing, I make sure the coco is completely soaked and damp. Then I just take the little container my seeds in, poke a hole in the middle, pop seed in. Spray daily with a light mist until you see it pop ground. Then I begin watering normally, increasing amount as the roots grow in.

Yes, but I haven't done it in such a long time.

You're starting out right by planting direct to the coco. Key points here are to keep it moist, not wet, as others have said-a spray bottle works great for this. Once the seed pops through, tone down the misting-let the root seek out moisture in the rest of the cup. The other biggie is to keep them consistently warm-80 deg is perfect. So once I see it pop the ground, I just let it dry out a little bit to prevent damping off and then start watering normally dude?

Damn good advise. Not wet but heavy on the moist side. Domes will help but then I use one big dome on a propagater and remove the lid if things get too wet.

Domes are for clones.
