ok i know there are millions of threads about this and sorry to put another one up but i got about 10 seeds from some pretty good mids the other day and tried germing a few but htey wont do it. i kept them nice and warm and moist in a few sheets of paper towel but they wont germinate. i left them for a week then chucked them out and tried a new batch but they wouldnt germinate either:-?. they are nice ripe brow mottled seeds that wont crush if you squeeze them gently. am i doing something wrong or are they just shitty seeds?

cheers guys

Try soaking them in water overnight before placing them in the paper towel. Wrap the seed in the paper towel and then place a little bit of the towel into water so it will soak it up. If that doesnt work, u got some duds there

Chaz I tried a few different variations when germinating and this one works the best with about 60% of my seeds germinating, I used a couple of those small round cotton pads that women use to take off their make up I put about 6 seeds in between each pad and put enough water in the little dish to keep them moist, I then put the dish about 2 feet away from my hot water system which is in a cupboard, I check the cotton pads every day and add more water if the pads get dry, I Tried exactly the same way but put the dish on the window sill and no luck maybe 1 or 2 germed but in the dark warm dry cupboard it works well.
