germing help.....

i germed my seeds, the tap root popped out and i put into my FFOF soil. I didnt pre water the soil like some people say to do, i didnt get moist until after i put the seed in and after that i only put a little water on and around in a circle to get it moist, i didnt totally water the whole thing, would this be ok.?. right now i have 4-23 watt cfl's on it to help keep warm

You should be fine this is how I do mine make sure you keep it moist not wet they don't need much water yet
