Getting new system...Aero or Ebb and drip?

ok so Im done with the DIY DWC crap. I had decent results but went through hell so I was going to buy a new system. I have a little bit bigger than 3X3 space and wanted a new aero/ebb/drip system to fill it out.

I was looking at this ebb and flow TurboGarden Hydroponic System

If not that then I was thinking about 6 or so hydrofarm drip buckets.

I was wondering if any could point me to some links on here of people with ebb and flow setups, grow journals, or any 'why-didnt-I-think-of-that?' info. I read the FAQs already but Im looking for something more.

Also if you have used this ebb before...yay or nay?

You can build your own for much less, i've made the mistake of going with SH bubbleponics.

Secondly, check out nongreenthumb's journal and his apprentice' Drizzle's journal. All grow in just rockwool with nutes, phenomenal results, minimum spending.

i'd like to try that turbo garden myself...

have you considered soil?

cheers

Well ive bought the system now and im just waiting for my crop to finish then Ill replace it with the turbogarden so ill let you know it treats me. Yeah my very first grow was soil and it was ok. It was the easiest thing ive ever done actually. I started hydro because it was more sciency and technical, and there was more DIY work involved.

Yeah i looked at the DIY and I am just over building it myself. I bought the system and it was way worth the time, effort, and mistakes that would come along with me making it (although I fucking love building shit myself).

I checked out those guy's journals....so they just use 6" rockwool as the medium? I could fit like 40 plants in there! I always wondered about ebb and flow because cant the roots grow out into the light and die?
