Gg4 outdoor grow

Hello, good morning, afternoon, and evening to all. Today I just received me gg4 5 pack from ilgm. Will be germinating shortly, I am on the east coast and the weather has been less than stable. Already almost April and still having chances of snow. Will post update once I start germing. Any tips or tricks for the future greatly appreciated.

Weird year for weather. I'm less than 2 miles from the mousehouse yet only 85 miles away there were blizzards that still have people snowed in.

A quick tip: The best way to deal with unstable weather is to grow indoors.

I feel you, progressing towards that. Have had some success in the past with the outdoors. But from a moneys standpoint this the best I can do
Best probably to germinate and keep them inside until Mother’s Day or so depending on how far north you are. Pot them up a time or two, then start putting them outside in indirect light for a couple weeks, gradually giving them more direct light. Once the danger of freeze is over and they can stay in the sun all day, go ahead and plant them outside. Good luck, I look forward to seeing some monsters this fall. That’s one thing you can’t do inside as easy!

Thanks for that, will def give that a go. Was going to put them in a closet with fluorescent lamps. See how that goes. Looking forward to unleashing the monsters as well lol

A closet with fluorescent lights would be perfect for veg, that sounds good. Just watch heat and rh so they don’t get way out of the norm, and take a few pics and ask if there are issues. A small fan in the closet not blowing directly on the plant would not be a bad idea.

I'm in Michigan, will be starting some clones for a month inside then move them outdoor June 1st.. I germinate with grow plugs and a heat mat.

Was just looking at the heat mats, thinking about it. That’s probably great timing. I’m in Massachusetts so I can only assume our seasonal weather is not so different

"Hook Daddy" why don't you just bag it?
Why, because I can afford to grow? That doesn’t even make sense. If you’re going to try and troll people I suggest you get better at it. Do you run around criticizing all the people that grow indoors? I simply suggested that the main reason people grow indoors is to be able to better control the environment, and you get all smart-assed about it. Then I simply suggested if you can’t even afford to grow, you certainly can’t afford to purchase, so should probably re-evaluate your life and stop smoking until you do. It’s actually good advise.

Then please take it. Or afford to be in a place you CAN grow. Not hiding in your little hovel.

OK I’m not playing this, you said you can’t afford electricity, not me. I can afford to grow and I do so in my little hovel as you say, which I’m sure you have no idea about at all. Good bye. Ignored.
