GH Flora Nutes

Hey it's my first grow and I am starting from seed. I put 5 seeds into germ last night and I was going to find the best plant and make her a mother and start cloning to flower. I am using a GH 3-part system and I was wondering when I should start feeding the plants, and I heard to start at 1/2 strength, yes? And then when I keep the mothers in the veg state do I continue to feed it high ppms? 1300-1500?

you should start an 1/4 strength from what is says on the directions and then monitor as you see fit. you can start when they are like 3 - 5 inches but be very carful . if you have a ppm meter test it the day after if the ppm is increasing it means you plants are drinking more water then nutes and they theres too much nutes in there. if after a day the ppm is the same even though the pplants been drinking water, then that means they are drinking the water and nutes equally and you have found thier ideal amount for that stage of growth


oh but this is for hydro, i dont know if your using soil.

soil no food until about 3 weeks or so, keep it at 1/4 strength to begin with. Also what kind of soil, something without food in it I hope? Also a heads up for you, depending on your soil mix you may want to get something called Cal Mag it keeps those nasty Cal and Mag deficiencies at bay. Also if you haven't decided on a good soil mix and you don't mind spending a little cash get some of the Fox Farms Light Warrior and Ocean Mix and mix them together, it's awesome soil.

Oh sorry guys, this is in rockwool and hydrotion rocks. I am about to put the seeds in the rockwool tonight. I will put it in dark until I see a sprout and then put it under my t-5's...is this correct? thanks. Good explination Pandabear that helps a lot thx.
