GH nutes feeding schedule for autos?

Listen to what I'm tell in ya...

Micro and bloom 1:2. Ratio...it's all you need.If you follow that posted schedule you will and up with nitrogen tox.

Work up slowly to 1 -1.2 EC

so its like the lucas formula? Would I start at week 1 with this schedule or after flowering starts?

All the way from week 1 to harvest you keep the same 1:2 ratio all the way ...just raise ec as you go.

Example. .5ml micro 1ml bloom,1ml micro 2ml bloom,1.5ml micro 3ml bloom.

When you get to 1.2 ec that's enough, for the last couple weeks before harvest taper back down.

And yes it is the Lucas formula.

Hello can you explain the EC part. I dont have a EC meter pen. I do have a ppm pen. So what makes the EC move up or down? So would you feed .5ml micro/ 1ml bloom week 1. Then 1ml micro/2ml bloom week 2. Then just keep adding each week?

So i take it do not use those recommended feed charts. I will also follow your advice for a feeding schedule. I will just keep an eye on my plants and respond accordingly. One thing is that i didnt feed my plants in the veg stage at all because im using FFOF and they didnt seem to need nutes. The soil gave the plants all they needed for the first month. If you have to start feeding in week 2 of flower lets say would you suggest to start the same way and back off at the end?

I don't like those schedules....they always want you to overfeed...they don't want your bottles to last a year.Lucas formula works good and it's pretty easy to dial in.second week of flower I'd probably start at .5 ec and watch your plants, raise ec until you see tip burn.last 2 weeks taper back down.

All PPM meters just take the E.C. value and calculate it into PPM's. Here is a E.C. to PPM conversion chart.

If ya feel nervous, give them a 4/8 dose just to get their feet wet. I now just go full strength from the start when using Lucas. Have yet to see a burn issue. as long as your getting decent run off and giving clean water so often..pHing gets to be a pain in the ass at a point though. I switched to General Organics line, no ph'ing...man it's sweet, and rivals my hand made soil and teas
