Ghetto Grow Box (CFL)

Okay so I have two plants in my little box, one is pretty old but very small and one is a couple weeks old and small for its age. They're so small because its like winter where I am and I have had them outside untill a yesterday. But now they're in my box with four 26 watt cfls. I also have my little fan inside and the soil is some miracle grow shit that I found at my pad. Yea by the way this is like an extremely cheap grow so dont tell me to get hps bulbs and ballasts and shit. I have started them off on 12/12 to make these bitches flower. One is the taller one is snow caps and the shorter one is cali kush. The taller one is a female for sure but idk about cali. Here are some pictures...















So the two smaller boxes on top each have two of the 26 watts. And the fan is also in a seperate box that is connected to the fatty one.

i think your plants are stretched maybe you should place the lights closer

I really cant say how old they are because I wasnt keeping track of them when they were outside. But I would guess that the smaller one is about three weeks and the bigger one is probably like 3 months. And yes they definatly have some stretch goin on because of thier limmited light when they were outdoors.

be careful with the cardboard.other than that do what you do.i have seen plenty of nice bud coming from ghetto grows.

What about the cardboard should I be carefull about? And how do you lolypop a plant?

The cardboard can cause mold

If you want to lolipop all you do is cut off the lower 1/3 nodes of the plant. This will force the plant only to bud on the top of the plant (you will get one nice top cola per plant, looks like a lolipop). Most people put their plants into flower very early when they lolipop. Its a great way to do a perpetual harvest. Your grow op looks like an ideal setup to lolipop. If you wanted you could have like 10 small plants growing with enough light. Each plant wont yeild incredible amounts but its a fast harvest and if you have a mother to get clones from it only gets better

Yea that sounds like the shit man. I have them on 12/12 right now so im hoping that the little cali kush will be female. So I should put them as close to the lights as possible?

you want them 3-6 inches away from the lights depending on the heat, especially in flower to help induce.

Ok so they're pretty close to the lights now and doing well! They sure look alot healthier than they were outside. I will probably post some new pictures tonight or tomorrow. I think im gonna give the snow caps some foxfarm bigbloom and tiger bloom.

Ok fa sho. They're pretty close but not too hot, perfect I gave them a small dose of foxfarm nutes this morning and I also added another cfl that was layin around. I think its like 16 watts. Im broke as fuck right now but wen I get some cash im gonna grab a couple of those 68 watts

Snow Capps-1/4 tbs big bloom, 1/2 tsp tiger bloom.

Yea I do have a fan on them and its helping alot. They are pretty stretched because they've been recovering from growing outside in the wrong season! Haha thats why I kinda just wanna get this grow over so I can start fresh. Im even thinking I might make seeds if the cali kush is a male. Cali kush x Snow Capps= Snow Cal? Hahaha tell me what ya think. Oh and yes I do make my own glass, ive only made one pipe so far though
