ghetto style outdoor dry

well guys i just harvested my first ever plant, gotta say it went pretty well for my first grow, but theres always dryng + curing before i can enjoy the fruit of my hard work. unfortanantly i have nowhere indoors to dry outside. what do you think of this system, will it work?
it has 5 holes in the bottom and 4 holes in the top

Shit dude dont seal it up like that! unwrap it asap.Either use a tent out there or set a tarp up and hang them under.Set the tarp up in some thick bush so it is unseen.

Also makesure you angle the tarp so any rain flows off.I have had to do both ways and in my opinion under a tarp hanging from some wire was the best method.Plenty of airflow.

True i guess airflow is most important, ill be back when i update the set up cheers

Something has come up and i cant get to my spot today, it has alot of airflow in the bag and has holes to evaporate since the black bag will asorb the heat making it really hot, will it be okay for now till i can check it in 3 days

It was a 60 day auto and my first grow

hey guys i managed to get down and fix it up, i built this tarp with a garbage bag and cut my plant in half and chopped off the extra stem, it gets barely any sunlight besides in the late afternoon and early morning so hopefully the thc wont degrade too bad and gets heaps of wind, its also sloped to prevent water, what do you think?

Personally, I think you should have planned ahead for this before you even germinated the seed. All that work just to end up getting less bud because of bad drying conditions. But either way, I really hope it works for you. Toke on

How can you end up with less bud than you started with? Is something eating it? It's not perfect, but if it's all you got...

How the hell do you not have a dresser to dry that weed in? haha I would never leave my weed outside to dry.. I would be worried about somebody stealing it.

That would be my worry; if I was walking around and saw a tied down trash bag, I'd be interested in what was under it. I'm not a thief, but I'm not everyone.

Oh I wouldnt steal it either... I would def "pinch" a big handful though lmao which would be like 90% of his bag hahahha.. that will teach them to dry outside

From MY personal experience, badly dried and cured bud tends to be less potent. Which means you end up smoking more overall to achieve the same effects. So technically he is smoking more bud to get the same high. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So "less potent bud" might be a better choice than "less bud"? While the amount of time his stash may last could decrease, due to increased intake, the weight of his stash does not.

I'm more inclined to leave a warning that the location is compromised. I've never felt inclined to penalize someone for working with what they have.

Personally , I would rather have an ounce of medical grade piff than have a pound of schwag. But that's just me. I was just pointing out that he should have planned ahead for a drying place before starting his grow. But obviously it is too late now, so all I can do is wish him the best of luck with his bud.

Can you give an actual difference? as opposed to one based on terms that aren't standardized? I'm all for a good cure, but can you show that it's as bad as you paint it?

Ive consumed both types of bud. I have smoked slow dried bud cured for months. I have also smoked some quick dried bud cured for a week. The difference is incredible. Its all about the quality of the smoke. Some people will smoke anything if it gets them high. I am a bit more picky with my bud.
