looks good so far! im subbed. follow me (sig link), im growing 3 strawberry kush and one random seed in a dwc.

Day 13



the one on the left is the oldest it is a little smaller than the one on the right tho
the smallest one is getting fat each day, those 2 leafs are bigger than the other 2s
they have all started to shed their stem skin lol

imma have to move them all to the grow shed sometime this week which should be fun fighting cold temps

i mean the cups i was thinking of getting a stack of xxl cups to grow in but they are white nd it would be a hassle to cover all of em in tape. do you think light would penetrate thru?

i did my last grow with a white cup, didnt have a problem at all im also using soil instead of clay balls,

actually the only bad thing to using soil is it turns the water a cream soda color it didnt effect anything tho

i was just lookin at my last GJ and im like damn i hope this grow is better i keep checkin out the plants seeing if they are getting bigger or not lol but i have to remember they are only 13 days old but they should really have a growth burst when i get em in the buckets

why dont you use coco husks or coir its like 2$ a brick

idk never really thought about it i always used what i had laying around i might check it out when i start my 3rd gj tho

i did a small flush this morning to try and clean the soil of any ferts cause the big one is kinda stunted and such

update
i cant tell if the flushing helped or made things worse yet but anyways i wont be doing the shed grow yet
ill be doing this grow in a empty room due to cold weather so now i have to build legs for my scrog screen since the walls are flat white already i wont be using foil or anything so ill be doing a lot of picture updates friday night when i get everything done

day 14
not the best pics kinda did this sloppy

you can see them being droppy from being flushed
i removed the 2 first blade leafs that was all burnt on both of the big ones hopefully that helps them
on the little one you can see the spots starting at the tip area

but the big one on the left is kinda stunted in growth so hopefully the flush worked if not ill flush em again

i will rep anyone that can tell me what the cause of this is and how to fix it

looks like a advanced mag def get some epsom salt from walmart and you should be golden

I was thinking either a pH issue or ca def. I was looking through my marijuana garden saver book that has photos. These are youngs plants so I have a hard time thinking they don't have what they need in the containers...that is why I was leaning more towards pH and uptake issue.

What kind of soil are you using? Just out of curiousity. Ca/Mg are the most common def. Are you testing the pH at all? I did look back a bit and didn't see anywhere that you were checking that.

Maybe with all our heads together we can come up with a working solution. Test pH and adjust if necessary. Or add a Ca/Mg dose to your next watering or for faster application folair feed.

I will be honest I'm not sure what is going on. Can you take some pics of the entire plant so we can see if there is any other noticeable changes...

epsom will work for cal and mag plus it doesnt hurt anything adding it will fix it or narrow down the possible problems

epsom salt is MgSO4 = magnesium, sulfur and oxygen there is no calcium. It might help calcium be absorbed by the plant though.

you could always use lime

i do believe its either potassium deficiency or calcium

what kind of soil/medium are you using?

its a mirco gro soil, i do believe its the cause of it cause i never flushed the soil from last grow
