Lets say you have this...

4.6 x 4.6 x height not a factor (~21 square feet)

3 gallon pots 1 per square foot pot size is 7.5" x 6.5" - 21 of these soil grow

1kw hps 195k lumen good enough air vent. to keep light as cool as possible

just to note as well air cooled hood is 20" long by 24" wide !!

growing from clone (for estimations lets say 8-9 week flowering indicas)

below is where i would def like some input from super experienced growers

how much veg time/height after clone is rooted to fill the 1 square foot but not so much that I have to much growth/waste

and obv your estimated yield?

I would give them 4 sf each minimum under a 1k light.

only 5 plants? seems like a lot of veg time. I was hoping to veg rooted clone about 7 days then switch. I just don't want to have an out of control jungle with not enough light with 1 per sf.
