Giving Rep

Hi all, I've heard reference to 'rep' but am a bit confused by it. How does this work and how do I give it to someone? I've gotten some great feedback from folks so far and I'd love to be able to rep people back if this is at all useful or beneficial.

I looked for detailed information on this on the site but didn't have any luck finding it....just references to it. Thanks and sorry if this is an old or repeat question..

the rep is the scale right next to the post number above your join date.

just click it and type in your comment. it helps whoever you give the rep to if you put your name so they know who rep'd them
