I used to use these things by hot shot early if I had a problem and give my plants 3 or 4 weeks without before harvest when I first started growing. Might help u get your problem under control. I'm not a fan of chemical pest control tho. I say use sns products. Here is a pic of the pest strips tho

Those strips look and sound scary to me. Sounds like they'll kill any bugs, or people that are brave enough to inhale that shit,

Lol yea packaging sounds scary. But if you move your air they work. I wouldn't call them a long term solution but they can save a grow. Just make sure to find a better solution.

And don't use in the last 3 weeks, people are more important than your grow

All I use right now to maintain strong healthy roots is a lil bulletproof si by cutting edge and some +life by veg bloom. Have had nothing but success

I just think going to DEFCON 1 for gnats is extreme. Not a fan of those strips anyways though.
No one is but they do work and I can attest they won't contaminate the end product. I used them in a garage like 10 years ago for the first 4 weeks of flower. Again fix your root problem. Shouldnt have to do shit like this more than once if you learn from your mistakes

Hey dude, I recommend you to get Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (BTi), and nematodes. I had a pot with 200+ flying gnats, I started alternating these too along with neem meal, and I got rid of all 200+ in the course of 2 weeks. The nematodes supposedly eliminate the gnats that are in egg and larvae state in the soil, the neem repels them as well.

Hypoaspis Miles are another gnat lover.

The "No Pest" strips are specifically meant for spaces that are NOT occupied. If you use one in your house, seal off the lung room from the rest of your house & let the strip(s) do their work for a couple days, should kill everything even the hidden carpet beetles or anything else you may not have known was there. They work.

Mulch with a thick layer of rice hulls or sand. Rice hulls are better because sand somehow always makes it up to the buds and sticks to them, at least outside. There's no need for the nuclear option because it works like magic.

Rice hulls won't do anything to get rid of gnats.

No. I have three separate times developed a gnat infestation. The first time I mulched with sand and that worked wonders. But with all the wind, the buds were encrusted with sand and it lowered bud desirability to the point that I ended up making hash oil. The other two times I topdressed with rice hulls which worked like magic. The only downside is that if you mess with the soil enough to mix a little with the hulls, the gnats can get in and lay their eggs and you have to redo the whole thing.

But it works like magic.
