Gnats and rockwool

Has anyone ever got gnats using Rock wool? I am buying a product I want to try that kills the egg and the adult, but I can't remember the name. I will post it after I buy it unless the Azamax is cheaper. In that case I will post my results. Please let me know about the Rock wool and Gnats. Thanks DD

No they like anything organic like plant matter with a plant in it, they are dirty dogs that way. What I need to know is do gnats go in plants in rock wool? Thanks again for the help everyone.

yes they go anywhere there is wet dead plant material.
